Please realize believing in horoscopes IS a form of shirk!
1) Would the Prophet(saw) greet you with Salam or pass you off as a Non-Muslim?
2) What would the Prophet(saw)’s reaction be to your appearance and how you present yourself?
3) Would he want to ride in your car, and listen to what you listen to?
4) Would he want to come to your house, and would you want him to see the state of your house and how you live? After he sees the inside of your house, would he remain in your house?
5) If he met your wife, would you be proud or embarrassed? Would your wife be proud or embarrassed of you?
6) Would he eat your food?
7) If you were in the Prophet(saw)’s gathering at the Masjid, would you feel left out or would you be comfortable? Would you even understand what’s being discussed?
8) In your gathering, would the Prophet(saw) be comfortable, or would he leave?
9) Would you be comfortable showing the Prophet(saw) how you earn you living?
10) What would the Prophet(saw) think of the way you practice Islam, your ideologies, your value of the Quran, your value of his actions and the Hadith and your efforts to please Allah(swt) and emulate the Prophet(saw)?
For the truly honest,
11) If you were randomly picked to represent Muslims of today to the Prophet(saw) and the Sahabah, 1432 years ago in Medina, what would their reaction be? Pride and ecstatic to see the fruits of their sacrifice and the appreciation of their efforts from our generation, or would they dejected and heart broken at what they have observed?

ya ya, i hate long posts too but please bear with me. Insh’allah this will inspire you to take salaat more seriously!
So there was this man. Mashallah he was a good Muslim, listening to his parents, giving charity, etc. But he had this one problem: he always prayed his salaat late. When the adhan came on for asr, he would run and pray duhur; and when the adhan came on for magrib, he would go pray asr. He would put it off because he was on the computer, or until he finished watching the game, useless stuff. That was his bad habbit for a long while.
One day, however, when he was at the masjid, the Adhan for Magrib came on. As usual, he didn’t pray the previous salaat, but he still decided to put it off. He actually waited untill there were in salaat to go pray Asr. Subhanallah, you can see how shaytan slowly leads you away from the staight path. Anyways, when he was down in sujud (position when your heads on the floor) he started to hear screaming. Not just that, but people running and crying. He came into sitting position and was shocked. He couldn’t believe his eyes. It was the Day of Judgement.
“H-How?” he exclaimed, “I didn’t even die!”
Of course nobody heard him. He was in the middle of complete chaos. When he was starting to panic he heard his name being called.
Two huge angels proceeded to walk towards him. They dragged him what seemed like forever. They stopped and he found himself standing in front of Allah (swt)
The man was read his good deeds, and his bad sins. He thought he was doing well until he was told he didn’t pray his salaats.
“No Salaat? Jahannum”
“There must be a mistake !” he screamed as he was dragged away, “I prayed every prayer at the masjid!”
He screamed and screamed, but there was no use. He was thrown into the fire pits of Hell.
When he was just about to touch the fire, a hand grabbed him. He looked up and seen a beautiful old man.
“Who are you?”
“I am your prayer” replied the old man.
“What took you so long?!” the man shrieked “I almost entered hellfire!”
“You took long time to pray me during the dunya, so I took a long time when you needed me”
The man jolted awake. He was at the masjid.
“Oh allhamdulilah, I must have been dreaming” He sat down to catch his breath.
Just then the adhan came on for ‘Isha. The man quickly got up and ran to make wudu.
From then on, allhamdulilah , he never prayed his salaat late again.
