1) Would the Prophet(saw) greet you with Salam or pass you off as a Non-Muslim?
2) What would the Prophet(saw)’s reaction be to your appearance and how you present yourself?
3) Would he want to ride in your car, and listen to what you listen to?
4) Would he want to come to your house, and would you want him to see the state of your house and how you live? After he sees the inside of your house, would he remain in your house?
5) If he met your wife, would you be proud or embarrassed? Would your wife be proud or embarrassed of you?
6) Would he eat your food?
7) If you were in the Prophet(saw)’s gathering at the Masjid, would you feel left out or would you be comfortable? Would you even understand what’s being discussed?
8) In your gathering, would the Prophet(saw) be comfortable, or would he leave?
9) Would you be comfortable showing the Prophet(saw) how you earn you living?
10) What would the Prophet(saw) think of the way you practice Islam, your ideologies, your value of the Quran, your value of his actions and the Hadith and your efforts to please Allah(swt) and emulate the Prophet(saw)?
For the truly honest,
11) If you were randomly picked to represent Muslims of today to the Prophet(saw) and the Sahabah, 1432 years ago in Medina, what would their reaction be? Pride and ecstatic to see the fruits of their sacrifice and the appreciation of their efforts from our generation, or would they dejected and heart broken at what they have observed?
